Hakkasan San Francisco

Hakkasan is an experience above. You have to go up a floor to get there. You order the best food in the city, and once they get your order, the service is impeccable. When you're Midway through your 3rd course, you'll ponder what decisions brought you to this wonderful high place. Order a cocktail. They're neat.

Love this place! The tofu balls are amazing! Also you really can't go wrong with some old school pin ball games! Always a good vibe!

Good place to have Chinese style food with friends. Perfect seafood meals here. Service is great but everything takes longer than expected. Usually need to spend 2 hours here. There is a SF mandatory fee around $10. Table can be reserved online.

Great bar space for happy hour and networking with delicious cocktails and food.

The place offers a vast range of fresh food. I love eating here. The employees are always helpful, rates are convenient and the place is always neat.

Took a client to dinner and drinks one evening after work. There was a Warriors game on that day so most bars were packed and crazy loud. Hakkasan was quiet and a great choice. Client was impressed with upscale drinks menu and the atmosphere. The bill was NOT cheap, but that’s what expense accounts are for. Would recommend the margarita and dumplings.

Good ambiance. Food came quickly and it was great! The only slight annoyance was we asked for a corner seat from the beginning, the couple that sat next to us came later, and asked the same thing and they got the corner table. Could be because one of the corner tables just opened up right before but it was just a bit annoying they couldn't accommodate.

The food was amazing. We weren’t a fan of our server, not sure if he was having a bad day but he wasn’t very friendly. But his supporting staff was amazing.

This place is expensive, but once you taste the food you understand why. Both Chinese classics and fusion riffs. The quality is exquisite. Not only are the flavors spot on, but the techniques are first rate. This visit I has the dim sum plate, 4 kinds of dumplings. Fantastic. Then black cod in a champagne buerre blanc. Perfectly cooked. Finally a tofu, eggplant, mushroom clay pot. Great flavor and texture. It is really a treat to eat there.

This restaurant is so cute and the food is consistently amazing. Definitely a great date night spot. Be prepared to pay for the experience, but you probably knew that be for going here.

We were walk ins and we're not treated oddly or unfairly. Sure, for a restaurant as upscale as they come, reservations are recommend. However, the servers were very accommodating and professional and luckily there was a table that became available right as we walked in. It was just two of us. The experience was amazing and although I felt a little lost with how it all worked, the servers provided good customer service and checked in to see if we had any questions. The food were in small portions but every bite was delicious. I will definitely bring my family here next time.

Food was delicious and service was great, but definitely over-priced. Maybe spend less on fancy napkins in the bathroom and all the employees walking around constantly refilling water to help lower the cost? Happy we went, buy going to be hard to justify spending that much on a dinner again for a long time!

Came here for a work event and it was definitely a very nice Asian fusion restaurant. We mostly had appetizers but everything I taste it was delicious. The desserts were over the top. I don't think I could choose a favorite because they were also good. The Decour is nice and the service was friendly and I would highly recommend this for work events or even just dinner though it is a bit pricey. But worth the experience.

Food was outstanding, Wagyu beef was tender, fish & duck were delicious, and that had us confident enough to order a second round, nothing we ordered was less tasty, service was prompt and food was swiftly served, we didn't get the most friendly server that day. All in all definitely worth the experience.

One of the best Chinese meals I have ever had. Simple, perfect and delicious. I had the lunch special with hot and sour soup, ribeye and rice! The cocktails were great as well!

Menu has changed, but new dishes were amazing. Roasted duck pumpkin puff was pretty awesome.

Great menu and food as always. Love Hakkasan wherever we go.Location was good- up and over the San Fran streets, but I think it needs more marketing. The London and Las Vegas locations are heaving- this one was half empty.Didn't bother us though- great service, atmosphere and food!

This location is better than the Vegas location. The lobster soup is amazing! I could eat just a few bowls of this and be okay. The Peking duck is really good as well. We got a wine pairing and the bar director did a pretty good job.

The food and ambience were ok, and the drinks were awesome (would definitely recommend the Schezuan margarita). But for the price I expected way better quality food; in particular I've had much better vegetarian options at Chinese/Thai places for half the price.

All the plates were excellent, but the prime rib was over the top delicious and tender. Save up money and treat yo self.

Love me some dim sum and this place has some great options! It also has a great atmosphere in general so would definitely recommend.

An upscale, modern Chinese restaurantHakkasan is more than food, it's an experience, from its modern interpretation of Chinese cuisine, to the ambience, to the attentive waitstaff. With the exception of the Aubergine, Tofu, & Mushroom Claypot and Egg & Scallion Fried Rice, anything marked with a "V" can be made vegan. Tried this place before with my friend and I am hooked ever since. I like the excellent vibes and delightful food and drinks. 5 stars from me.

I only went to show my girlfriend a place she hadn't been to. The bar is cool. Go to R&G if you want some great asian food.

Great dim sum and Chinese food. Expensive but worth it. Loved the variety of food and service is awesome. We were lucky to get same day appointment for a party of 6. Usually they are packed.
